Foodie – Ina Cramer, our beloved ice-cream lady

Think lemon and blueberry; white chocolate and raspberry; amaretto and almond; banana, honey and choc chip; pear and vanilla; bergamot orange; tangelo and granadilla; rhubarb crumble; and the very local melktert-flavour, and you have an idea of locally produced Namibian ice cream and frozen yoghurt at its best.

Although only officially launched in June 2013, Ina Cramer’s products are causing ice-creamy waves throughout the local market. Says Ina: “Our ice creams are much more than tasty. They are real food, locally produced from scratch with only high-qual­ity, nat­ural ingre­di­ents.

Organic milk, yoghurt and cream from our own cows form their base. We then add fruit, herbs, choco­lates, spices, and a good dose of cre­ativ­ity to cre­ate our pre­mium, all-nat­ural ice creams and frozen yoghurts.” Cramer ice cream and frozen yoghurt are available at Maerua SuperSpar in Windhoek, and online from Organic Box.
