Windhoek – Paratus Telecommunications has partnered with the Namibia Tourism Expo to provide all exhibitors and visitors with free connectivity for the duration of the Expo to enhance tourism brand communication.  The 16th annual Namibia Tourism Expo is set to take place from 4th – 7th June 2014 at the Windhoek Show grounds and is organised by Republikein.

This will be the first time Wi-Fi hotspots will be available to both exhibitors and visitors to the expo.

Paratus chief executive Barney Harmse explains: “Paratus Telecom is a wholly privately owned telecommunications operator with operational offices in Namibia, Angola and Zambia. “We are proud to be the first Namibian tradeshow to offer free Wi-Fi to exhibitors and visitors to the expo. By partnering with Paratus Telecom we are taking the Namibia Tourism Expo to the next level. This added value to exhibitors raises the bar for tradeshows in Namibia and puts us on par with regional and international tradeshows. We would like our exhibitors to conduct their normal business activities whilst continuously being able to engage with new customers and the Namibian public in general. The Expo hosts exhibits by local, regional and international establishments and also features interactive Chef’s Demonstrations, Namibian Arts & Crafts Exhibitions, food, beer- & wine-tasting and a host of other fun activities to attract travel enthusiasts, foodies, friends of tourism and the general public alike.
