The Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino (WCCR) recently upgraded its ‘Oryx Conference Centre’ and guests are welcomed to start booking.
A three-year plan was set in place to renovate the country club, which includes upgrades to public areas and all bedrooms. Renovations to these areas will be completed later this year.
The Oryx Conference Centre can cater for up to 900 delegates and it has seven different venues. An emphasis was placed on design and color with the remodeling, which means that the centre is now fit for various occasions, including weddings.
The centre is one of the largest conference venues in Namibia and it is internationally celebrated for its conference capabilities. A variety of prestigious events have been hosted here, among which – the Miss Universe Pageant, the annual Miss Namibia pageant and the COP11 conference.
