And now you have the option to do so without leaving too many of your comforts behind. Vineyard Country B&B has recently expanded with eight camping sites, each with luxury bathroom, braai area and lawn.
Situated next to the eastern entrance to Windhoek, the facility is perfectly positioned for those on a journey to or from Botswana or eastern Namibia.
And camping is not your only choice. If you prefer a made-up bed, there are en-suite bedroom units housed in a century-old stone building surrounded by vineyards. Conferencing is also catered for, while a self-catering unit is nearing completion.
