Nanofasa Conservation Trust has received a generous sponsorship from Bank Windhoek, N$190 000. The money will be used to finance the Barefoot Academy they run with San communities in the Nyae Nyae Conservancy.

Namibia Future Farming (NFF) recently celebrated their launch at Dagbreek Special School in Windhoek by installing 12 aquaponic units at the school. This is is NFF's third aquaponics growing centre at Dagbreek.
Namibia is currently in the process of becoming part of the multi-lateral Agreement for the Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels (ACAP). The agreement aims to conserve these birds by reducing threats to their populations.
