Spinal Health by Dr. Elga Drews,
Registered Chiropractor & Homoeopath, Demartini Method facilitator, President of the Namibian Chiropractic Association, Chairperson of the Complementary Health Professions Committee
October marks spinal health month. Therefore it is appropriate to inform about facts on spinal complaints and to create awareness about challenges of joint disease, but most importantly to empower all about the knowledge of back maintenance and spinal health.
The presentation will focus on the following topics:
– Bone and Joint Decade’s Action Week
– World Spine Day
– Importance of proper posture and movement in maintaining spinal health
– What can you do to ensure spinal well-being?
– Straighten-Up Namibia exercise programme

Book launch and introduction by author Reinhard Friederich: Etosha: Hai//om Heartland, Ancient hunter-gatherers and their environment
All events are open for public – everyone welcome! Venue is Namibia Scientific Society, Robert Mugabe Ave 110, opposite National Theatre.
