The American Embassy recently made a donation of about N$25 million to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism to aid in Namibia's fight against poaching.
On July, 28 the bright red ribbon around 9 tons of white Karibib marble was cut, and since then, French artist Gé Pellini has been chipping away to transform the mass of rock into a life-sized rhino sculpture.
