“Ever wanted to discover Namibia and SADC but are challenged by finances?” asks Ramona Bowe and Florida Nghumbwavali of For You Travel. The two of them recently launched their company, which offers lay-bay tours – a first for Namibia – aimed at everyone from Namibia or the SADC region.

With a combined effort of both these innovative women’s experiences working in the tourism sector, they’ve come to realise that Namibians love to travel, “but always think Swakopmund is their only possibility because of financial restraints.” So they gathered ideas from tourism industries across the globe and came up with the master idea behind For You Travel – the option of paying off your dream trip in installments that suit your budget, till up to 40 days before your departure.

Ramona boasts that she’s got an “immense passion for my country. We’re sitting on top of a goldmine here, and we don’t even realise it! I want to show our people what we have to offer here in Namibia.”

For You Travel also acts as an agent for MSC Starlight Boat Cruises in Namibia and offers a wide range of possibilities for both individual clients and companies. Amongst these are arranging international driver’s licenses; offering vehicle rentals with no credit card payment required; honeymoon trips; renting of camping gear; guided tours; transfers of all kinds; conferencing; teambuilding opportunities; and accommodation throughout Namibia and the SADC region.
