Between them they create unique wirecraft and beadwork, with lampshades being one of their interesting items. They recycle discarded metal, cutting out shapes with special scissors and old beads and metal mesh, with which they devise hanging lampshades resembling bunches of flowers.
The two ladies started the project seven years ago with Elna Venter. They are now producing their work and running their stall at the Namibia Craft Centre in Tal Street, Windhoek, on their own. Other items include jewellery, napkin rings, shawls, bead table runners, and belts.
