May 28, 2013UPDATE: THE GATES TO THE KHAUDUM NATIONAL PARK HAVE REOPENED AS OF 25 JULY 2013
Khaudum National Park, the densely wooded wildlife destination situated on the eastern Botswana border of Namibia, has been closed until further notice.

Those wishing to camp at the two campsites, Sikereti and Khadum, can not do so until the Ministry of Environment and Tourism re-opens the park.
Thus far reasons for the closure have not been given, though we will post an update soonest.
