February 4, 2014Each year the Lüderitz Speed Challenge is attracting more and more participants, and highlighting not only the region’s ideal conditions for some of the fastest sailing in the world, but increasingly exposing the natural charm of the town to the world.
Since the launch of the Speed week in 2007, the event has placed the town as the undisputed adrenaline water sports capital in Namibia. And without a doubt, the kite and wind surfers are impressed with the man made, specially modified canal that leads to new broken records each year.
