In the heart of the arid central Namibia, between Swakopmund and Etosha National Park, lies Khorixas Lodge, a port of call that provides a relaxing environment for travellers weary after a day’s exploration.
Near Khorixas is the Burnt Mountain, Petrified Forest and the famous rock-engraving site at Twyfelfontein, which achieved World Heritage Status in 2007.
The lodge offers 29 bush chalets, a house for self-caterers, 10 single rooms, a camping site and restaurant.
Khorixas can be reached from Windhoek by taking the B1 northwards, turning onto the C38 from Otjiwarongo through Outjo and then the C39 to Khorixas.
