June 3, 2015Fish River Canyon – A charming journey

Otjimbondona cannot be described, it has to be lived, it has to be experienced!
Being retired, in good health and living in Windhoek, my husband and I are in the privileged situation to travel widely and frequently in Namibia. We have visited MANY lovely lodges, situated in the most spectacular environments, serving good food, having really friendly staff and offering good to quite luxurious accommodation.
Otjimbondona offers all of the above. What then sets it apart from the rest?
The accommodation at Otjimbondona (only four exquisite villas) is absolutely stunning. In terms of privacy, space, lay-out, attention to detail, quality of linen/bathroom amenities/furniture and general fittings, Otjimbondona is second to none! We spent three glorious nights there and when we were offered another game drive (massage and game drives are part of the all-inclusive rate) on our last day, we turned it down, purely because we wanted to spend as much time possible in our lovely villa!!
Because of the complete privacy and wonderful space of your villa, the term “home away from home” does come to mind. The sheer indulgence of real good quality, luxury and good service are constant reminders though, that you are not home!
Be sure to book at least two nights, preferably three.
For a special treat, a celebration of an important occasion, a time of utter rest and privacy or just to recharge our batteries, Otjimbondona will be our nr 1 choice in Namibia.
